Firefox Lockwise 4.0.1 password manager for Android

Mozilla released it 4.0.1 a password manager for Android devices. With a little update, it also added the ability to remove telemetry data collected with Mozilla Telemetry.

As you may know, Firefox Lockwise is a password manager built into Firefox for desktop devices. It is also available as a standalone password management application on Android and iOS devices.

When the autocomplete method is selected in Android options, Firefox Lockwise enables autocomplete in all installed apps. The sync feature allows saved to be available on desktop devices but also on mobile devices where the application exists and is connected to your Firefox account.

In version 4.0.1, Firefox Lockwise can also send a special request for the telemetry data collected by Mozilla servers when the user disables it telemetry.

This change was made in accordance with the new directive added to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which aims to protect users' rights to the handling of their data by large companies.
