Starting today, the current version of Firefox Nightly comes with a new feature that allows users to mute a tab of browser where sound is played.
The developers of the browser Firefox have created a feature in the browser tabs that allows users to see a small icon on the right side of the tab when a sound is playing.
By pressing this icon (with its checkmark sound) will help users mute annoying ones advertisements or video. It doesn't change the volume level of the video player, the sound just stays muted only in Firefox, per-tab.
Chrome has a similar feature already, but it does not allow users to mute the sound, all it shows is an icon (with the sound marker) to see where the sound is coming from.
If you want to take advantage of this feature at this time, you will need to install the most recent version of it Firefox Nightly, which can be downloaded from the link below.
I hope to see it in a future version of it Firefox.
