You have tried to files or folders in Windows and messages like: access is not allowed” or “the file is being used by someone else ”? Somewhere here comes the ForceDelete application that will help you to fix these problems and delete the files or folders you want.

ForceDelete is a handy and useful Windows utility that unlocks and deletes files or folders that are used by other processes and cannot be deleted.

The best part of this little tool is that ForceDelete has an option that allows users to delete locked files and folders without ending processes.

This will allow you to delete used files, but avoid losing other data in the process. Just run the "Close Processes" option and then drag the files and folders you want to delete in the application window. ForceDelete will delete these files without shutting down the processes and programs that use them.

Additionally, ForceDelete also adds 2 shortcuts to the context menu, so you can easily unlock or delete files from the menu with the right mouse button.

The "Shred Files" option is available for users who want to permanently delete files and folders from their hard drive. Note that if you delete files and folders with this option enabled, all deleted data will no longer be recoverable.

ForceDelete also supports the command line. You can run forcedelete.exe from the command line to delete batch files and folders.

Example of use:

forcedelete.exe [file1] [file2]

"File1" and "file2" can be a file or a folder. The program will delete all the files or folders that you add to the command parameters.

Windows 7 / / Windows 10 / Windows 11 or later & Server (64/32 bit) – 800 KB
