German police arrested 2 people who used Botnet to produce Bitcoins

Germany's Federal Police Criminal Service (BKA) announced the arrests of   ατόμων στη Βαυαρία και Κάτω Σαξονία ως υπόπτων για τη of a botnet that has helped them generate over €700.000 ($954.000) in Bitcoins.

According to the authorities, three suspects are being investigated, but only two of them were arrested at night between 2 and December 3.

The Police report that these individuals had modified a piece of one software so that it spreads across the Internet and gives them control over victim computers. They used these computers to create a botnet, which in turn was used to steal digital identities and create Bitcoins.
