Microsoft's offering for the free upgrade to Windows 10 from Appliances with genuine copies of Windows 7 and 8.1 ended yesterday July 29, 2016. However, if you are one of those slow decision makers and woke up today with the urge to upgrade to Microsoft's super operating system, you can still get it for free as long as you have a genuine copy of Windows 7 or 8.1.

The company has announced that the offer will continue to apply to customers using ancillary technologies. Microsoft had not then revealed whether there would be any requirements to be met for the free upgrade after 29 July of 2016.

So with a simple "Yes, I use assistive technology and I'm ready for the free upgrade to Windows 10" you can upgrade for free.
Microsoft says it can end the offer whenever it wants in the future, but it does not seem to have decided yet whether to do so.
Although the company states a very good reason for expanding this offer, it is essentially expanding the one that has just "expired." Another trick to promote the operating system?
