Android Nougat: It's definitely less exciting than Nutella, but better than some other names that have been chosen.

The name is Android Nougat, because Nutella would probably have licensing problems (though they did it for the Kit Kit).
The announcement of the new name came from the account of Google at Twitter:

Before announcing the new name, the company showed various statues displaying all the "sweet" names of Android versions before unveiling the new statue of Android Nougat (Hellenistic = mandolate).
Anyway, the news functional eponymous will be released sometime this fall.
