Google recently introduced a change to Chrome pre-rendering behavior. It is called NoState Prefetch and was designed to replace the classic browser pre-rendering process. One of the key differences between the two pre-rendering technologies is that NoState Prefetch does not run JavaScript or display sections of the page in advance.
