Google has pushed the latest beta version of Chrome 55 to stable channel for all supported platforms: Linux, Windows and Mac.
55 has been on the Beta channel since October 21 but since today the final is available for everyone. It comes with PointerEvents support, which could lead to a better response of web browsing since page scrolling will not be prevented by default.

Also, the new Chrome 55 supports asynchronous JavaScript loading, which will be very convenient for web developers who want to write JavaScript based on Promise for a very easy-to-read and structured code.
Another feature that comes with Chrome 55 is support for CSS automatic hyphenation.
The feature in question usesται για να βελτιώσει την visual consistency of the text, allowing program Google Chrome browser to spell words. It is currently only supported on Android and MacOS devices. Support for Linux and Windows will come with a future version of Chrome.
