Chrome 58: new features and 29 security fixes

Google officially released Chrome 58 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Add-ons include support for the IndexedDB 2.0 template and improvements to iframe navigation.

You can update to the latest version now using the built-in silent browser update program or by downloading the application directly from the known address google.com/chrome.Chrome 58

As mentioned above, Chrome 58 supports the IndexedDB 2.0 standard, which makes it easy to work with large data sets in the browser. Version 2.0 has new features for schema, mass action methods and standard fault management.

Chrome also supports the new iframe sandbox keyword, allowing you to enable navigation per user.

This "sandboxed" iframe keyword enables top-level navigation when activated by the user, and prevents any automatic redirection. This way, Chrome can fight third-party content that automatically redirects the page, while allowing developers to place third-party content in sandboxed iframes.

Let us also mention that Chrome 58 comes with 29 security fixes.
