Google has just released a new version of its Chrome browser for all supported desktop operating systems, shipping a total of 22 code fixes for the latest vulnerabilities security.
Currently in 61.0.3163.79, the Google Chrome comes with fixes for six different "high-risk" vulnerabilities discovered by outsiders researchers. Each of these 3 bugs was awarded $5.000, according to Google's Chrome funding program.
In addition to security updates to the code, Google Chrome 61 also introduces a number of other features and improvements, including options for video making the browser not automatically expand to full screen when the device rotates to an orientation that does not match the screen.
In addition, Google reports that websites are automatically pushed off full screen if Javascript opens a dialog so that they will not be able to bind the user to various scammers by blocking the browser and making it impossible to close the application or the active tab.
The new version of Google Chrome is available for GNU / Linux, MacOS, and the Microsoft Windows. Εάν τρέχετε ήδη το Chrome, απλά πηγαίνετε στο menu > Help > about Coogle Chrome and the built-in automatic update engine will download and install the new version automatically.
