Η Google just released a new little update on Chrome 73, as it prepares for another important update later this month.
With the current update, Google Chrome reaches the 73.0.3683.103 version on all supported desktop platforms, namely Windows, Linux and MacOS. Needless to say, this is a small update that does not bring new features and you can check the complete switchboard from here.
One major issue that this update doesn't seem to fix is a bug it's creating for some users a flickering screen in Windows 10. Today's rollout is very likely to be the last update for Google Chrome 73 as the company is pushing for another big update later this month.
Google Chrome 74 is expected to be released on April 23 and will be available on all supported platforms, including mobile devices.
Meanwhile, the number of programs browsing based on Chromium increases, with the adding Microsoft Edge, which also migrates from EdgeHTML in the same mechanism. Microsoft is expected to formally release a preview of construction of the new browser in the coming weeks, while the fixed version of the new Edge should be released on Windows 10 and other supported platforms sometime 2019.
