Google gave the release the first version of the upcoming Google Chrome with adblocker. For the beginning and throughout the testing period, it will be on Chrome Dev and Chrome Canary for Android.
Google announced some time ago that it was in its plans to integrate an adblocker into the Chrome browser. Google, which is an advertising company for the first and foremost part, seems to be facing difficult times caused by the growing popularity of ad blocking programs.
So the company had the idea to prevent the most embarrassing ads in Chrome by integrally embedding an adblocker in the browser.
The company hopes that this will slow down or even reverse the use of third-party adblockers and will simultaneously improve the acceptance rate of advertisements it promotes on the Internet.
Adblocker will be embedded in desktop and mobile versions of Chrome browser and will exclude default ads, automatic video ad plays with sounds, and other annoying ad formats by default.
The first version of Chrome with native adblocker was released in the test builds of Chrome Dev and Canary today. The feature seems to evolve on the server side as there is no new option in the browser itself.
You can see if you are using adblocker by clicking Menu> Settings> Location settings.
Adblocker is enabled by default and their description states that it "blocks ads from sites that tend to display annoying ads".
Google intends to block all ads on sites that display annoying ads using the built-in ad engine. This may include Google-backed ads if they appear on a "bad name" webpage that uses annoying or intrusive ads
The "Coalition for Better Ads" or "Coalition for Better Ads" will determine which forms of advertising are intrusive. Google is a member of this group. You can check the website of the group for examples of ads that are considered intrusive.
