COVID 19 Public Datasets: One of the ways scientists and researchers are trying to understand and find a solution to the coronavirus is through building AI models. To aid these efforts, Google Cloud is offering free datasets for researchers under the COVID-19 Public Dataset Program.
Last night the company unveiled an open repository of data (COVID 19 Public Datasets) related to the virus and includes, in addition to Google data, data from the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering (JHU CSSE), the Global enviroment Health Data from the World Bank and OpenStreetMap data.
All these free databases will be labeled "COVID-19" for differentiation and easy access. will remain free and affordable until September 15.
Researchers can also use BigQuery ML to build advanced AI models for any research related to COVID-19. BigQuery ML is the service της Google που επιτρέπει στους προγραμματιστές να δημιουργούν και να τρέχουν μοντέλα μηχανικής μάθησης μέσω απλών ερωτημάτων SQL στο αποθετήριο δεδομένων της εταιρείας που υπάρχει στο Cloud.
The pandemic has prompted AI researchers and AI companies to try to help find cures. Last month, technology companies from China Baidu and Alibaba provided researchers with various AI models to speed up the process in virus-related studies.
Earlier this month, the Allen AI Institute teamed up with various research teams to create an open dataset on CORD-19, adding thousands of research papers and articles on the disease.
