Changes to the Google application reflect the importance given by all the major messaging market players.
Google has launched a complete upgrade, the exchange application messages Hangout, in the version for use by Apple operating systems.
More specifically, the upgrade brings Hangouts for iOS to version 2.0 and includes a major redesign that makes the app fit perfectly into the user interface of the iOS 7 operating system. In addition, the upgrade has added full support for use by Appliances iPad.
Also, for the first time, the app will be enabled to turn on a video call in picture-in-picture format. Additionally, users will be able to upload up to 10 seconds of video and report the exact location they are in, by sharing the map.
It's worth noting that the 10 second video upload feature does not exist in the Android version of the app, so it might be something to add there to a next upgrade.
The Hangouts for iOS v2.0 app offers useful shortcuts along the home screen such as the contact list, favorite chat contacts, recent Hangouts, and Internet voice calling, and will now allow users to use emoticons stickers.
Overall, the application becomes more user-friendly and with significantly more features and possibilities. The changes to Google's application reflect the importance given by all the major market players in the field of messaging.
Especially after the impressive takeover of WhatsApp from Facebook versus 19 billion dollars last week and the upgrading of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with advanced messaging features last autumn.
