Google Lens: A standalone app on Google Play is released

To March (7 March of 2018) Google said that Google Lens, an app that uses artificial intelligence to detect objects using the phone's camera, will be available to all its users on Android.

Today Google released a standalone Google Lens app through it , allowing everyone who doesn't have the feature to get it on their Android device. The Google Lens application as we mentioned above uses artificial intelligence to provide information from the images you have taken (clothes, books, buildings, etc.).Google Lens

Although you can download the Google Lens app, it doesn't seem to be compatible with all Android devices. For example, it will work perfectly on the Samsung Note 8, but not on the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Other users reported that the app does not work on Moto Z Play, Nokia 7 Plus and Xiaomi Mi A1. On Google Play, the app's installation specs say it's required from Android Marshmallow and above.

Η Google είχε αποκαλύψει τότε μόνο τους κατασκευαστές των 10 συσκευών: LG, Motorola, Xiaomi, Sony , HMD/Nokia, Transsion, TCL, OnePlus, BQ and Asus.

If you have Android devices not included in the list, the Lens app will probably not work…
