Google seems to be trying to add a touch of human touch to the upcoming self-driving cars cars her. The company today announced Paint the Town, a competition for artists.
Interested people can send their plans to Google and they will choose 10 better to use later on their original cars.
The selection and announcement event of the Paint the Town winners will take place next month.
The artists selected for their designs will have the opportunity to take a ride on a self-guided prototype of the company, as described in the competition Google's website.
Artists who can participate should be at least 13 years old and must submit their work in physical or digital form from 11 July to August 30.
The design should explain in less than 100 words how their art aligns with theme που έχει βάλει η Google: "η κοινότητά μου, οι γείτονές μου" ή "my community, my neighbors".
Plans should not contain text and will be used on car doors.
