Google just released a new one platform που ονομάζεται Project Bloks και έχει σαν στόχο να μάθει code to children in the form of a game.
The project has three main components:
The Brain Board is a processing unit based on Raspberry Pi Zero, to control and supply power to the rest of the connected units. It can also interact with other devices via WiFi and Bluetooth.
Meanwhile, the Base Boards are the link units that allow you to draw instructional shots.
Let's go to Pucks now that they are the fun pieces that interact with each other with arrows, buttons, paintings and much more. All this can be programmed to do much more.
You can also record instructions from multiple pucks into a single one. As there are no active electrical components, everything can be made from various cheap materials, such as simple paper with conductive ink.
It is too early to evaluate Project Bloks, as it should be tested first in some selected schools. If the results are satisfactory, we expect to expand.
To understand Project Bloks watch the following video:
(However, according to the video, even if children do not learn code, they will learn what perseverance means).
