A month after updating satellite imagery with higher resolution photos, Google redesigns its road maps to make it more legible.
The company says that her goal was to visually balance her maps by layering on top of them information but without being excessive, subtracting data "Which are not absolutely necessary". It has also changed the typography to highlight key areas of interest and make them stand out more.
Speaking of areas of interest, the Google helps you by pointing the signs you may want to visit by shading them in orange. Then you can zoom in an orange area to find more information.
Goggle says that the definition of "areas of interest" is done through an algorithm that measures business concentrations around an area,
