Her co-founder Google Sergey Brin may be in charge of X company research, but that has not stopped CEO Larry Page from dreaming and submitting his own ideas. According to a publication by him The Information, Page has expressed interest in building a more efficient airport as well as a model city.
Article author Amir Efrati says Page called on all the company's top executives to envision what Google 2.0 will look like and set new goals for the business. So ideas from the company's workshops were presented, around subscription products, child-friendly services, and various others. Page is also reportedly planning a new R&D department, similar to Google X, that he will oversee.
Big plans and great ideas for a future that seems to be determined by the big technology companies. The search company is already known for its research concerns as well as for the acquisition of robotics companies.
Nobody really knows what is being planned in Project X workshops, except what the company lets us see.
But the proposal for a model city and a new revolutionary airport looks less frightening than its robots Boston Dynamics, which was acquired this year by Google.
