Ο Open Technologies Organization (), will apply to participate in the program Google Summer of Code and in 2020 as mentor organization, and will support open source projects by students and researchers of Greek universities and research centers.

That's it GSoC offers students from around the world the opportunity to contribute to an open source project and learn what it's like to work in an open source development environment . Every summer thousands of students from all over the world participate in GSoC, gaining important experiences while contributing to the development of popular projects software. That GSoC is implemented globally and since its inception in 2005 more than 15.000 students from 118 countries have participated in it, resulting in the production of more than 36.000.000 lines of code for 686 open source organizations.

In Google Summer of Code 2019 201 organizations from 101 countries and hundreds of students participated in hundreds of open source projects. The Organization of Open Technologies (EELLAK, eellak.gr) participated in GSOC with 13 open source projects the 2019, 10 projects in 2018 and with 4 projects the 2017.

The Organization of Open Technologies (EELLAK) invites members of the academic-research community  into a with public and private sector bodies to suggest extensions projects open source code widely used in Greece to join Google Summer of Code 2019, completing this εδώ until 20/1/2020.
