A company that builds drone acquired Google

With yesterday's press release, Google has officially announced the acquisition of Titan Aerospace, a company that plans drone or unmanned aircraft that will, among other things, help the US giant to provide access to the Internet in remote areas.

DRONE

Currently under development, Titan Aerospace's drones will be powered by current that will be produced from the sun by the thousands of photovoltaic panels on their fuselage. The aircraft are designed in such a way that they fly at an altitude of 20 km, i.e. above the clouds, while a part of the electric s that will be produced during the day will be stored in batteries, to keep their engine running at night as well.

Αυτή η δυνατότητα, και ειδικότερα η παροχή πρόσβασης στο ίντερνετ, είχε κάνει να «φουντώσουν» τον τελευταίο καιρό οι φήμες για συνομιλίες της Titan Aerospace με το , which through the Internet.org project wants to connect the remaining 2/3 of the planet's population to the Internet.

Google will use the drills together with the balloons it deploys in the framework of the "Loon Project", creating a flying fleet that can replace the Internet infrastructure where it does not exist. In its communication, however, it refers to other applications of unmanned aircraft, such as environmental studies or the monitoring of natural disasters.
