Gottfrid Svartholm, one of Pirate Bay's founders, was jailed yesterday to be arrested again by the Danish authorities a few hours later.
Svartholm, who was arrested last August 2012 in Cambodia, was extradited to Sweden to serve a prison sentence for his involvement in running the websiteσελίδαs Pirate Bay.
For this category, Gottfrid Svartholm was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, which was then reduced to one year after his appeal to the Court of Appeal.
During his imprisonment, authorities began legal proceedings in a Danish case where he was accused of hacking into computers belonging to the Danish company CSC.
So he was extradited to Denmark, to serve a three and a half year sentence, and was released free suspended yesterday.
His re-arrest is due to the fact that the Swedish authorities have not informed that yet 4 weeks are still in prison, from the first category for his participation in Pirate Bay.
According to TorrentFreak, the Swedish prison authorities have failed to inform both Svartholm and the Danish authorities about this issue.
So the country issued an arrest warrant in its name with the known results.
