It is now official. The hack “Oleg Pliss” affecting iPhones, iPads and Mac devices in general is not limited to Australia and New Zealand. At least two related messages on Apple's support forum confirm that it has spread to the US and England, although we can't say for sure which country this requesting hack originated in ransom.
In a topic of forum growing, Apple customers seem to confirm that the attack under the name "Oleg Pliss ”has spread to the United States and the United Kingdom, with the exception of Australia and New Zealand.
“I'm in the US. I have never been to Australia. Last night my device was done hacked and wrote his nonsense Oleg Pliss. "Currently, I am doing a restore and trying to get my online connection back," wrote wheelman2188 in a post on Apple's support forum.
User Loonbeam1 reports “Also my wife was beaten in the US by Oleg Pliss. I'm not sure how it activates. Both devices are passcoded whenever I don't have one damage. They were never found in Australia, and at least one of my two devices was purchased in the US/Canada (one was suspended directly from China)”
As we noted earlier today, hack could very well spread around the world, and many users could actually succumb to fraud and pay for 100 € without any guarantee that the scammers will unlock their Apple device.
We do not even know how hackers could take control of the devices in their hands. In the beginning, however This month, an email claiming to be from Apple was sent to various iOS X OS users with the following message:
"Your Apple ID has been disabled for some reason security! Someone just tried to sign in to your Apple account from another IP address. Please verify your identity today or your account will be disabled due to our concerns for the security and integrity of the Apple Community. To confirm your identity, we recommend that you go to ….. etc

The above remark was highlighted by a user who managed to avoid being hit by the hack, but others may not be so lucky and fall into the trap.
If you know that you have responded to this email in accordance with its instructions, change the code to your Apple device now.
Hackers could have more than one method to obtain passwords accesss, so you should keep your eyes open for any scams that ask you to enter your Apple credentials for no plausible reason.
