On Sunday, hackers managed to access the Reddit account and personal blog of Mark Karpeles, CEO of Mt.Gox. They published a very angry text

It's time that MTGOX got the bitcoin wrath instead of [the] Bitcoin Community getting Goxed,

the unknown hackers wrote, referring to the many instances in Mt.Gox's three-year history that it had gone offline s, delayed transactions or suspended transactions, so much so that Bitcoin owners coined the term “goxed” – meaning they are suffering from Mt.Gox's technical malfunctions.

But the hackers didn't stop there. They also posted a 716 megabyte file on Karpeles' personal website, which they claim is from Mt.Gox's servers. It appears to include an Excel spreadsheet with over a million transactions, a file that purports to show the company's balances in eighteen different currencies, the backoffice application for some sort of administrative access to databases του Mt. Gox. Η it includes a screenshot of the database of Gox's parent company, Tibanne Limited, a list of home addresses and Karpeles' personal resume.

Mt. Gox hackers

In a nutshell, hackers report that the Gox balances in various currencies suggest that what they claimed for 951.116 bitcoins that disappeared from hackers is not right.
