Caution! Malware traffic by offering false jobs

Security researchers Malwarebytes have identified a new campaign spam, which is designed to lure unsuspecting users to websites that host fake surveys and spam.the.

Fake emails titled "RE: Your Job Application" inform users about the approval of a supposed application they have submitted and report:

“Thank you for your recent job application, which has been approved after a relevant review. We would like to start hiring immediately, and provide you with paid training, for this position. If you are still looking for employment, please visit the website us and fill in some additional information, via the following link.”

The site to which users are redirected varies according to their location. However, experts have found that in most cases, victims are transferred to a website where they are urged to iLivid (tool bar),  Ask Toolbar and  Torch Browser .

In other cases, victims are transferred to sites where they are asked to complete some surveys in order to earn cash prizes.

If you come across such emails, simply delete them. If you have been the victim of this fraud, remove all the applications you have installed and scan your computer with antivirus software to make sure you are not infected with malicious software.
