Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro: Our need for a new mobile phone, after our previous one fell into the water, led us to search the market in search of a modern device that would meet our requirements in terms of technical characteristics.
We ended up with the Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Pro which we also bought over the internet.
The purchase was made by the site gearbest.com at a cost of 97,37 euro.
We did not prefer a Greek site because the lowest price we found from Skroutz was around 145,00 euros. Since the day of our online order, we had to wait for 5 business days until the DHL private company hit our door.
Opening the package we found in front of the silver metallic back case of our mobile phone. We were impressed by the color that was not influenced by the transparent plastic protective case.
The first impression from the 5 ”black screen that filled the entire front of the phone satisfied us.

Our first move was to charge it wearing a little bit because our battery was on the phone but unplugged since it had a small adhesive membrane on its contacts. After charging, we changed the language to Greek, we put the regular sim card (the phone received a great sim and a micro sim whenever we did not have any difficulty) and we started looking for the menu.
We were impressed by the existence of a firewall (which states as app permission), which prevents applications from billing us in an uncontrolled way (to prevent calls, sms, mms, data), to read our contacts, email, messages, but also to activate wifi, gps, data, bluetooth, etc. at will.
Do not find it strange but since we got one of the phones of the Box and we discovered that it does not have Google Play because the Box has not made a contract with Google, we look at even this small simple detail… if what we buy has Google Play. Ours of course has and our first concern was to download and install a free antivirus that along with the firewall will give us confidence for our next moves.
Playing with the 13 megapixel camera, we were excited about the color rendition and the sharpness of details. The flash is strong enough and will not trouble you at all.
The phone after a number of crash tests that we did have seen it is very fast and does not warm up too much under a demanding game cpu.
