The US Government's new Healthcare.gov website appears to be violating the law.
As it turns out, the website uses the open code of the software DataTables, which is a plug-in for it jQuery Javascript library.
While using open source software (open-source), the makers of Healthcare.gov decided to blatantly remove all references from the developers that were embedded in the code as well as the original permission copyright, as stated in Torrentfreak.
In other words, they simply took open source software and present it as their own, which is a clear violation of the license GPL v2 and BSD (3-point) that uses the DataTables.
To compare the two files, below is the original DataTables file and below what they "developed" on Healthcare.gov.

Η SpryMedia, the company that developed the DataTables software said they were "extremely disappointed" with the way the Ministry of Health handled its code, running Healthcare.gov.
