With the arrival of Windows 10 Microsoft has removed from the menus and settings any option that would allow you to clear the history of the Run function. But nothing is impossible.
If you want for some reason to delete the history of Execution on Windows 10, see the way in the example below.
See her appearance of history on our computer:
In Windows 7 and 8 and earlier versions, you can clear the history using the Taskbar Properties dialog. But in Windows 10 there is no way to clear the history implementationq, except through the registry. Do the following:
1. Open Registry Editor.
2. Go to the following route:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ RunMRU
3. Delete all the values you see on the right side except 1, which is referred to as Default.
4. Close the registry editor
That's it! If you now open the execution history, you will find it empty.
Quite likely Microsoft will add deleting the history to a next version of the appropriate option in Settings. Until then, however, the only way is the above.
