HTC has just sent a very cryptic image to MME. The e-mail has no explanatory text with further clues, simply stating that the company "wanted to share the date of the next big announcement. ”
Even more puzzling is that the date (January 12, 2017) mentioned in HTC's event announcement is after Consumer Electronics Show 2017, a large exhibition event where companies usually make new product announcements.
However, HTC has made all its latest announcements online, rather than organizing large and outrageously expensive media events.
The only highlight of the event announcement is "For U", which as you can understand is not that enlightening.
Let's mention that HTC has a history cooperations with the company UnderArmor which produces wearables.
