Η Huawei, was also present this year at InfoCom World 2014, which is the largest digital technology event in Southeastern Europe.
In the context of the conference, Mr. Haohui Mao, Country Manager of Huawei Technologies SA in Greece, presented HUAWEI's proposal for a "better connected world". As Mr. Mao pointed out, the company's international strategy is focused on innovation and new technologies, offering its services and products in the Carrier, Enterprise and Consumer sectors, in more than 170 countries around the world. Special emphasis is placed by the company on research and development, which is confirmed by the fact that more than 70.000 people worldwide are employed in the R&D department of the company, while more than 10% of the annual revenue is invested in this sector every year. At the same time, Mr. Mao referred to the impressive development course of the company in recent years, registering high positive growth rates in all the sectors in which it operates. Referring to Greece, he emphasized that the company has been active in our country since 2005, having built strong partnerships with all telecommunications providers.
Also at the Huawei stand, visitors had the opportunity to see two of the company's best smartphones, the Huawei Ascend P7, which also received the pan-European award "European Consumer Smartphone 2014 - 2015" from EISA, as well as the new Huawei Ascend Mate 7 which will soon be available and in the Greek market.
