It is addressed to language savvy and professional translators, and can be used to evaluate and compare existing translations as well as to create new words to improve service. Over time, Google has announced that it will give contributors more ways to share their knowledge and improve translation tools.
The new community site continues to use a feature similar to Google Translate to allow users to submit their own corrections, just as Google Translate has had the "improve this translation" option since April.
"We plan to incorporate your corrections and over time to learn your language a little better," Google said.
