Increased security on Android with codes that automatically change every minute

TimePINA new "smart" application for devices with operating system The TimePIN, comes to add a safer lock method that is missing from functional.

Η TimePIN changes the code locking the device every minute, strengthening the security level of the device.

When installed the application asks to receive administrator rights on the device because it must be able to modify the security PIN.

Definitions, TimePIN uses the code to current time. That is, if the time is 09: 39, the code is 0939, the next minute the code will be 0940, etc.

For added security, however, the application offers additional code formatting methods:

  • Reverse, where the PIN is reversed by logic 09:39 - 9390
  • , where the PIN is set to eight digits as follows: 09:39 - 09399390
  • Double, where the PIN is repeated creating again an eight-digit code: 0939 - 09390939
  • Offset, where the user denotes a number which is subtracted from the four-digit code resulting from the conversion of the time. That is, if the offset is -121 and the time 09: 39, then the PIN is 0939 -121 = 0818.

The free version of the application includes the normal and reverse functions. To "unlock" the other three, the cost is 1,99 dollars.

If someone forgets the lock mode they have set, they can unlock the application with it master PIN which is required to exist by TimePIN, and and every time the device reboots.

You can download and test the application from here.
