Inkscape 1.0 is finally available for download after at least three years of development and, just as expected, this big release comes with a huge changelog.
Image and web page editing and design program is available for Linux operating systems, Windows and macOS. Starting with her version 1.0, InkScape is offered as a native macOS application, which means you should notice better performance and increased reliability.
Incscape is a powerful, free and open source, tool design. Whether you are an illustrator, designer, web designer or just someone who needs to create pictures from scratch, Inkscape is for you.
What's new in this update is that Inkscape introduces a new feature called PowerPencil that allows the Pencil tool to be used with a pressure-dependent width. You can also create a closed path and draw line drawings.
The PDF exporter has also been improved and now supports links and metadata clickable, while other notable improvements are variable font support, new templates, grid gradients that work in the browser, and new line height settings.
There are also customizable themes, icons and fonts and users can save the current file as a template.
