The US Senate Security Committee is working on a new Intelligence Authorization Act, which includes a special clause that forces service providers to investigate and denounce any terrorist activity they observe at the beginning enforcement.
This new version of the Intelligence Authorization Act will be submitted to the Senate for voting in the coming days, and if approved, it will transfer the user's license from the hands of the state to private companies and companies.
According to The Washington Post, which first reported on the issue, the bill is modeled after the 2008 Protect Our Children Act, which requires online companies to monitor and report any child pornography activity.
Authorities will of course continue to use their own tracking systems on sites and services such as Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
Once companies identify such publications users on their sites, they should notify law enforcement and provide details of the user's account.
The new bill doesn't say anything about removing content, but most websites will do it regardless, mostly because of the terms supply their services, or the negative publicity that may arise.
The new Intelligence Authorization Act will not only affect social networks,
