From the Greek Police's Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, a case file was filed against 22's native country, accused of attempted fraud and a violation of the law on the operation of private employment agencies.
Citizens' complaints were raised over allegedly offering jobs in different countries (Australia, Africa, Canada, Europe, etc.) of various specialties (kindergarten, pedagogues, programmers, electronics, etc.). For the alleged job offer, sums were claimed in advance, under the pretext of covering the costs, in order for the candidate concerned to occupy the alleged job abroad, often asking for personal data and documents of the candidate (identity, diploma, photographs, etc.). ).
From the investigation of the case, it emerged that the specific job advertisements, which were posted on the internet, had fraudulent content, while there was no physical headquarters, nor legal license operation private employment office.
In particular, in the context of the criminal investigation, the Electronic Crime Investigation Division conducted a thorough digital survey and analysis of electronic traces, followed by correspondence with the relevant mobile and fixed telephony providers, and as a result identified the involvement of 22 of the country in the case.
The case file for the case will be submitted to the competent Prosecutor's Office.
On the occasion of this case, the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office informs citizens that they are particularly careful when searching for jobs in advertisements posted on the Internet. In addition, it recommends and urges Internet users not to send personal data or financial data to unknown people, and should cross the existence of companies that offer and communicate with them to verify the content of the ads.

Cross-check the details of any prospective employer, professional or employment agency via a second source or phone book and then contact the employer directly.

Do not trust those online who ask you for money in advance to get you a job or to offer you a job.

Never accept to pay for "exclusive" job information or to get a specific position.

Pay particular attention when addressing companies outside your country or receiving messages from alleged foreign companies.
