The Greek Police's Electronic Crime Investigation Directorate informs citizens that they have been approached lately, both through Internet as well as in a natural way, citizens - internet users, mainly teachers, kindergarten teachers, etc., for supposed job offers in domestic private schools, colleges, etc., with high salaries.
At the same time, for the job offered, an advance payment of two hundred (200) to five hundred (500) euros is requested, usually in private meetings, under the pretext of covering expenses, in order to cover the supposed job position from the interested candidate .
It is pointed out that in many cases it was also requested privacy – documents of the candidate, such as identity card, degree, photos, etc.
In the context of the investigation of the complainants by the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, it emerged that the specific alleged job offers have fraudulent content, with the aim of collecting sums of money to allegedly cover expenses, in order for the interested party to occupy the supposed job position.
Citizens are kindly requested to be especially careful if they receive such messages or offers, either in person or online, in order to avoid possible deception.
