In this way, Romanians managed to steal iPhone worth 590.000 dollars, but they did not get much to enjoy. They were arrested by the local police and should be brought to the judge this week.
One of the thieves managed to climb on the hood of a modified truck that had a non-slip mat on its roof. From there, he jumped on the moving truck. As soon as he managed to open the door, he started throwing iPhone boxes to the others waiting on the van roof. The whole robbery took place on July 24 on the Axnemx motorway in the Netherlands, according to with the BBC.
The five men were arrested on Saturday and many of the stolen iPhone found in their homes. At the moment no one knows whether or not appliances have been sold.
Though the number of stolen iPhone has not been announced, with an average of 749 dollars per device and with total damage estimated to be 590.000 dollars, the devices that made wings reach about 800.
