The Kali Linux 2017.02 distribution provides, in addition to the latest tool and operating packages, a completely new security feature.
The new version, Kali Linux 2017.1, features drivers for wireless chipset RTL8812AU, improved GPU support and comes with Kali Linux Azhure and AWS images for cloud cases.
“We are pleased to announce the release of Kali Linux 2017.1, which brings with it a number of exciting updates and features. The updated kernel provides more and better hardware support as well as a host of up-to-date tools. But this edition has a few more surprises in its sleeve. The integration of drivers for the RTL8812AU wireless chipsets is here. These drivers are not part of the regular Linux kernel that has now been modified to be added.
This chipset supports 802.11 AC, making it one of the first drivers to come up with this standard. ”
