Kali Linux is a Debian-based distribution with a collection of tools better safetys – criminology (forensics tools).
The latest release of the project is Kali Linux 2023.2.
“After the previous release and the 10 year anniversary, Kali Linux 2023.2 is here. It's ready for immediate download or upgrade if you have an existing Kali Linux installation. The changelog highlights from the March 2023.1 release are:

- Icons & menus updates – New apps and icons in menu
- New tools – As always, various new packages added
