Ένα περιφερειακό δικαστήριο των ΗΠΑ απέρριψε τις ενστάσεις που είχε καταθέσει η Kaspersky Lab υποστηρίζοντας την απαγόρευση του λογισμικού της companys on federal agency computers.
Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, sitting in Washington, D.C., issued the ruling Wednesday, rejecting the two lawsuits filed by Kaspersky against the United States and the Department of Homeland Security.
Remember that the use of productof Kaspersky, a Moscow-based security firm, was banned from all government offices services of the US after the company became embroiled in a spying story. The company was accused of gaining access to highly classified NSA data.
Kaspersky has filed two lawsuits challenging the accusations of the government, arguing that he was violating the fifth amendment. But on Wednesday, judge Kollar-Kotelly briefly concluded that Kaspersky's two objections were not right and that its products would still not be used by government agencies.
For her part, Kaspersky said she would refer the cases to the Court of Appeals, seeking to overturn Kollar-Kotelly's decision.
Kaspersky Lab supports that these actions are the product of unconstitutional practices and wrongfully accuse the company without "substantiated evidence."
