Η Kaspersky Lab Presents it Phound!, a new free app for Android systems that helps users protect their mobile devices and personal data. The name Phound! comes from the words "phone" and "hound". The purpose of the new application is to help quickly locate lost people gadgets and in protecting the valuable information stored in them by keeping them from "prying eyes".
According research Internet users, last year one in 20 respondents lost their smartphone or tablet on average as a result of carelessness or theft. The corresponding figure for Europeans was 4%. At the same time, 36% of European respondents admitted that their devices contained confidential data that they certainly would not want to fall into the wrong hands. The Kaspersky Phound! was developed to prevent such worrying situations.
The Phound! allows remote control of the devices and the data stored on them through the portal My Kaspersky.
