KDE Frameworks 5.79 with over 300 changes

The KDE Project today released KDE Frameworks 5.79, a monthly of open source software containing 83 additional libraries to Qt to provide the functionality required in the work environment .

Additionally, when you open one in a KDE application downloaded from a browser you can access the file's website again.

Okular Document Viewer also has, like, the KDE Connect app that lets you manage notifications from your Android smartphone. KDE Connect can now better manage more alerts without any downtime.

System Settings has been updated to avoid error while navigating the "Appearance" tab of the Screen Lock page.

This version also adds support for KDE applications to remember the minimized or maximized window state when closed and reopened, adds the ability to edit the .desktop file without "freezing" the Plasma desktop session.

KDE Frameworks 5.79 brings a new system disk icon and better support for disk gadgets with expandable task lists when using non-default fonts or font sizes
