Kodi is a cross platform home theater application that will surprise you. The new Kodi 16 version can also run on Android TV, and supports remotes that come with Android-powered TVs and have a menu button.
The youngest version it will allow you by pressing the OK and Enter keys on your remote to see and select from the functions that the menu in the Kodi app gives you.
The new version also includes updates for the add-on manager, which will show you all available versions of the installed plug-ins, and the built-in music player scans for new tracks smoothly, assuming they are tagged correctly.
Kodi 16 also comes with an event logger. In this list, you can see every change you've made to the app. When were they updated add-ons, when you add news, everything you do will be recorded in detail by the new feature.
As you understand, you can use it to find out when and why an add-on does not work well, or manually correct some information in the library that is not properly enrolled.
