Gov.gr now has a chatbot, which works with artificial intelligence and helps visitors to the official Government website to easily find answers to their questions. It is the first attempt by the State to get involved with artificial intelligence and perhaps one of the first similar services in Europe.

The new assistant, according to its manufacturers, draws information from the list of 1.608 digitized services that have been added to gov.gr to date and 3.270 digitized administrative procedures that have been integrated into the MITOS register, in order to direct each of its interlocutors, while providing information on the actions that the citizen needs to take for the speedy processing of his request.

The particularity of artificial intelligence in this particular case, they allow the assistant to learn through the conversations it will have with citizens every day, with the result that the chatbot is logically constantly improving over time. Today it is in a test phase and it is possible to serve approximately 240 queries in Greek per minute. He even understands greekglish.

All exchanges with the digital assistant they become anonymous, i.e does not have information about the citizen it serves, ensuring the protection of users' personal data. The digital assistant is already trained not to ask for or accept personal information such as ς or payment details.

Μπορείτε και εσείς τώρα να τον "εκπαιδεύσετε" κατάλληλα.
