Microsoft was released last night one of the biggest updates of Windows 11. Windows 11 22H2 Moment 4 update (KB5030310 – Build 22621.2361) comes with the new Windows Copilot, AI updates to Paint, Snipping Tool and Photos, RGB lighting support, a modernized File Explorer and more.
Windows Copilot is the big new feature for this Windows 11 update, bringing the same Bing Chat feature directly to the Windows 11 desktop. It appears as a sidebar in Windows 11, allowing you to control settings on your PC, launch applications or simply answer queries. Microsoft also integrates Copilot into many other parts of Windows. Copilot will essentially exist as a digital assistant with artificial intelligence, much like Microsoft's vision of Cortana.
Although Microsoft retired the Cortana app in Windows 11 last month, Copilot seems to be Microsoft's new take on artificial intelligence.
Microsoft also added functions powered by AI in Windows 11's Paint app, Snipping Tool, and Photos app.
Microsoft Paint gets Photoshop-like features, with support for transparent images and layers.
Η File exploration or File Explorer gets a more modern look with this Windows 11 update. File Explorer's updated user interface includes a modern look with large file thumbnails and a carousel that can display recent files and favorites.
These changes make File Explorer blend better with the overall planning of Windows 11.
It remains to be seen if all of the above works as Microsoft says.
