According to a post on the LastPass blog, the service's technicians discovered some suspicious activity on Friday, which prompted them to block the network. LastPass says the "vast majority" of users are safe.
While the activity of hackers was quickly perceived and blocked, LastPass states:
“….as part of our investigation, we have found evidence that encrypted user data and accounts have not been compromised. THE research έδειξε, ωστόσο, ότι οι διευθύνσεις email των λογαριασμών της υπηρεσίας LastΡass, οι υπενθυμίσεις κωδικών πρόσβασης, τα user salts, και τα authentication hashes ήταν σε κίνδυνο.”
LastPass continues to indicate that users with weak master passwords will need to change them immediately.
Naturally weak κύριος codeThis means that users should immediately change all passwords stored on the platform.
