To this day, we all thought that Hector Monsegur, also known as Sabu, was the one who helped FBI in the arrest of the LulzSec group. However, recently documents have been released that show there may have been two FBI associates.
The documents were released on 8 January, by them Anonymous and present FBI warrants related to the notorious quakuist group.
Η Daily Dot states that the documents reveal the existence of two other informants, whom the FBI calls "CW-1" and "CW-2."
One of them could be a hacker who uses "M_nerva" as a nickname. On June 21, 2011, the LulzSec team accused him of being unreliable. The informants are believed to have helped the FBI arrest Ryan Cleary, a member of the LulzSec from the United Kingdom.
Both CW-1 and CW-2 were arrested on June 29, 2011. Authorities arrested CW-1 on charges of scamof credit cards.
