They found out screenshots from the new Windows 8.1 Update 1 build. It looks like Microsoft will allow the users to pin Metro apps to the taskbar.
A new series of images that arrived on the medianetwork just a while ago they reveal that the company is working on implementing a new taskbar customization option by putting an option in the settings panel titled “Show Store Apps on the Taskbar”.
A from screenshots published by Win8China show multiple Metro applications on the taskbar, including People, Weather, PC Settings, Maps, and Photos, but it is not yet clear whether users will be able to pin their third-party applications as long.
This could be the first step of a major change that could be accomplished with Windows 9, as Microsoft is speculated to work on bringing Metro applications to the desktop and allowing users to run them on their own windows.
