Lenovo introduced the new PC stick with Windows. The Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300 is a tiny Stick that connects to any TV or screen via HDMI and turns it into a Windows PC.
Dimensions of the Lenovo Ideacentre Stick 300 are 100x38x15 millimeters, but contain a full Windows PC. It includes an Intel Atom (Baytrail) processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, SD card reader, HDMI and a microUSB 2.0 port.
It has Wi-Fi b/g/n for network connections and Bluetooth 4.0 for use with wireless peripherals. Due to the lack of Ports, Bluetooth is most likely required to connect a keyboard and mouse.
Simply connect the Ideacentre Stick 300 to your TV or monitor, add a wireless keyboard and a mouse, and you have a complete computer for fun or work.
The package includes a 3-month Microsoft subscription Office 365.
The Stick will be released this year, with the Windows 8.1 with Bing or with Windows 10. Those who purchase the device with Windows 8.1 will receive a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it is released.
The Ideactic Stick 300 will be available on the Lenovo website. The release date has not been announced (expected in autumn), and its price starts at 129 dollars.
