According to an announcement lesvosnews.net, large websites, such as enikos.gr iefimerida.gr alfavita.gr kontranews.gr etc., began to publish the news about the suicide of a professor in Mytilini.
You know how it goes.
The news comes out of a cop, and the rest follow without seeing what has really happened.
This particular news was true but exactly one year ago. So the first copycat, read from lesvosnews.net about the suicide, without reading the exact date. Then the domino effect followed.

Lesvosnews.net NOT has absolutely nothing to do with this wretched reptreatment. In fact, we have informed most of the websites and have asked them to correct their mistake immediately.
We regret our relatives and professor's friends about the inconvenience, but responsibility is not ours.
It is a fact that there is a lot of gossip, lies and misinformation circulating on the internet. I think at some point some measures should be taken for this. Not like in China e.g. but at least there should be laws and some basic control.
